        Eric Clapton五十多岁方得一子，然造化弄人，稚龄爱子竟从纽约数十层高的公寓阳台意外摔下身亡。1991年3月，年仅4岁的Conor从窗户失足坠楼，这个打击几乎让他再度一蹶不振，不过将近50岁的他将思念之苦寄情歌中，于是产生了Tears In Heaven。
